NEW Title Sponsorship – SIMPLOT
Simplot Canada Secures Naming Rights for New Score Clock Title Sponsorship
Portage la Prairie, MB — The Portage Regional Recreation Authority (PRRA), in partnership with the Portage Terriers Hockey Club, is pleased to announce that Simplot Canada has secured the naming rights for the new score clock as the title sponsor.
This significant commitment represents a major milestone in the ongoing fundraising campaign toward the overall project goal of $450,000. The partnership demonstrates Simplot Canada’s strong support for community recreation, local sport, and the continued enhancement of key facilities in Portage la Prairie.
The new score clock will serve as a highly visible centerpiece within the facility, providing improved functionality for athletes, officials, and spectators, while prominently recognizing Simplot Canada’s leadership contribution.
“This sponsorship is a huge step forward in our fundraising efforts,” said the PRRA. “Reaching this level of support moves us substantially closer to our overall goal and reinforces the value of community partnerships in delivering meaningful infrastructure improvements.”
The Portage Terriers Hockey Club also expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, noting the positive impact the new score clock will have on the game-day experience for players and fans alike.
Both the PRRA and the Portage Terriers are extremely excited to welcome Simplot Canada as the title sponsor of the new score clock and extend sincere appreciation for their investment in local sport and recreation. Further announcements will be made as fundraising milestones are achieved, and installation timelines are confirmed.
